DDB Wins Network of the Year at EPICA

Agency Takes Home Coveted Title of Epica Network of the Year

Today, the Epica Awards and International Creative Conference named DDB Network of the Year, as well as awarding DDB Helsinki the Grand Prix in the press category for McDonald’s “Large Coffee.” Epica’s aim is to encourage the highest standards of creativity and to help agencies, film production companies, media consultancies, and photographers to develop their reputations globally.

McDonald’s “Large Coffee” campaign also won a Gold in the print category. Additional Gold awards were won by adam&eveDDB, DDB South Africa, DDB Tribal Group Germany, DDB Group Australia, DDB DM9JaymeSyfu Philippines, and DDB Stockholm, to make for no less than eight Golds in total. In addition, DDB took home 28 Silver and Bronze awards in a wide range of categories. The winning work was presented for clients such as John Lewis, Volkswagen, Marmite, Swedish Armed Forces, and Gabriela Campaign Against Sex Scandal Videos.
“Our job is to find or create a relevant truth for our client’s products, services, and brands,” said Amir Kassaei, Chief Creative Officer at DDB Worldwide. “If we’re doing it exceptionally, we add value to their business, get appreciation for our work, and receive industry recognition as just happened at Epica.”
